Aug.30 (Xinhua) --- A total of 882 freight trains ran between China and Europe via Manzhouli, the largest land part on China-Russia border, in the first seven months of 2018, up 18.1 percent year on year.

The trains were loaded with 73,700 standard containers of goods during the period, up 17.3 percent year on year, with cumulative value of good reaching 4.014 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 15.21 percent from a year earlier.
A total of 481 outbound trains, carrying goods worth 2.535 billion U.S. dollars, passed through the port, down 8.9 percent year on year, while about 401 inbound trains, loaded with goods worth 1.479 billion U.S. dollars, passed through the port, up 52.4 percent year on year.
In July, the port launched a new outbound route from Xi’an, capital city of northwest Shaanxi province to Minks, capital of Belarus, and a new inbound route from Linyi city, east China’s Shandong province to Tomsk in Russia.
The Manzhouli rail network has bridged 60 Chinese cities with 28 European cities in 11 countries over the past few years.
Industrial insiders noted that the China-Europe freight trains via Manzhouli land port have achieved normal operation.
